About the poster:

"Hiroshima - Underneath the nuke

Hiroshima. The city that never gave up. We all know it as the Japanese village that got hit by the first of two atomic bombs detonated on populated places.

World War 2 was a cruel devastation on all sides. It marked a peak of human brutality. Fortunately Hiroshima doesn‘t show scars. Instead they thrive in love, culture and many colorful cherry blossoms. It became an insanely beautiful city again. Truly remarkable.

And yet we hardly speak about it. We should be inspired by the Japanese effort and courage to build Hiroshima from the ground up and be reminded of the literal and moral impact that those warheads really had. We should never lose perspective on this matter, because the destruction caused by those nukes was unthinkably tiny when compared to most recent ones."
