Uniflo Bathroom Solutions (Nov '14) | Web Design | GPHX Designs

This responsive website was created for Uniflo, a bathroom and kitchen ware company in Dubai. The requirement consisted mainly of 1) a product catalogue which was easy to navigate and categorise, and 2) a translator from English to Arabic and vice versa (side-by-side examples are visible in shots 4 and 5).

To approach the latter challenge, I needed to design the entire website in a way which would accommodate a language 'switch' system. This component would allow a one-click language transition on any page within the website, support RTL text for Arabic, and allow manual translation input for every line since automatic translation would be mostly inaccurate for such a niche website. Once this solution was successfully implemented, I was able to build the rest of the design around this functionality so that every aspect of the website would respond to the translator 'switch', whilst also delivering a clean user experience from product catalogue to nav menu and beyond.
