Dormouse

Weighing in at between 15-40g and just 6cm or so long, the dormouse is one of the UK’s most threatened species. With numbers estimated to have fallen by over half since the mid 90’s. The loss of ancient woodland and hedgerows across the UK is one of the reasons this rarely seen miniature mammal is seriously endangered.
