There is no end to the number of stories that can be told, of how as a child I would color on walls, paper scraps, sidewalks, or anything that was available. I can remember watching the local PBS station and enjoying shows like “Mr. Rogers Neighborhood”, where I learned about storytelling, or “Mark Kistler’s Imagination Station”, where I got my first bits of art education.

I studied art, art history, and graphic design at Michigan State University. Earning a B.F.A. in Graphic Design. While attending MSU, I learned a great deal about how to visually communicate ideas through graphics and illustration. I have worked as a professional designer for more than a decade in the Mid-Michigan area.

Currently, I work at Michigan State University, for University Outreach and Engagement, as a graphic designer, web designer, and illustrator. I also teach graphic design and web design at Lansing Community College.
